Nine-day Novena with St. Anthony of the Desert Day Six

“For you remember our labor and toil, brethren; we worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you, while we preached to you the gospel of God.”

“And he said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed upon the ground, 27 and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he knows not how.”

Today’s Meditation

 

The Word of God is the word planted into our hearts. If we choose to allow the Word to grow, God will pour life giving waters and your faith will sprout like a new flower. The word of God is Life. Hope is what humanity desires. Give yourself to God and he will lead you to a higher purpose in your life.

Prayer

 

 

St. Anthony, you listen to the Word of God and you gave up everything, you allowed God to bury your old life and by his mercy, he poured life giving water into your heart. You allowed yourself to be a chosen tool, that the Master use to fight the devil on behalf of those who came to ask for your intercession on earth. Pray for me!
