Nine-day Novena with St. Anthony of the Desert Day Four

“Knowing their thoughts, he said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand; and if Satan casts out Satan,

 he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand?  And if I cast out demons by Be-el′zebul, by whom do your sons cast them out?

 Therefore, they shall be your judges.  But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.”

Today’s Meditation

 

The world is quick to tell you that the devil doesn’t exist. They are quick to run to science and medication to solve all suffering. Jesus, the Son of God is the Divine Physician. He has the authority and power to heal mind, body and souls. It is in the Name of Jesus that we are healed. He is the only thing that all defeat evil forever and bring peace to the world.

Say One Our Father, Three Hail Mary and One Glory Be, to Honor the Most Holy Trinity and asking God to delivery you of whatever is preventing you from living a higher level of Holiness.

 

 

Prayer

 

Lord Jesus Christ, you suffered a brutal death on the cross to save my soul! Let me not foolishly waste the gifts you have granted me and turn away from you. May by your grace that I confess all my sins and wash me my offenses before you.

 

St. Anthony, you suffer physical blows from the devil and who was saved by the power of Christ. Pray for me!
