Meditation 11-25-18

A reading from the Gospel of John 18:33-37

Pilate said to Jesus,
“Are you the King of the Jews?”
Jesus answered, “Do you say this on your own
or have others told you about me?”
Pilate answered, “I am not a Jew, am I?
Your own nation and the chief priests handed you over to me.
What have you done?”
Jesus answered, “My kingdom does not belong to this world.
If my kingdom did belong to this world,
my attendants would be fighting
to keep me from being handed over to the Jews.
But as it is, my kingdom is not here.”
So Pilate said to him, “Then you are a king?”
Jesus answered, “You say I am a king.
For this I was born and for this I came into the world,
to testify to the truth.
Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.”

Jesus who is the Eternal Truth, testifies of himself. Jesus Christ is the only truth that can free us from the grips of satan. Jesus is the only name that we can be saved and healed. Jesus is the Incarnate Word. He was there at the beginning of creation. He is present at all time. Jesus knows your hidden sins and he knows your deepest desires. You are made in His image, because he loves you as he loves me.  We know when someone is telling us the truth. We can see it in their faces, how they react. Can we not tell about our King? Jesus is the High Priest. He brings himself as the unblemished lamb before God the Father to bring about our salvation. Jesus words are Truth as they are Life. His words have brought healing in the gospels. His words have brought mercy and love. He is the everlasting King that will judge us at our personal judgement when we die, and then again at the resurrection of the dead. Today is a proper day to Honor Jesus as King of the Universe. He is the living bread that came down from heaven. He loves us so much, He was willing to die for us and He did. He was raised from the dead and now He sits at his throne. The chief priest didn’t really know they handed over their king, because they were blinded by their own jealous ways.  Pilate would have freed Jesus, but it was God the Fathers mission for Jesus to die on the Cross for us. We give you Thanks Eternal King for offering yourself so that we have a chance to get to your kingdom, May We ask your Mother Mary, Queen of Heaven and earth to lead us to the Eternal Word. May our brother and sisters who have passed from this life to the next, pray for us to join them in heaven, so we may enjoy the Eternal Bliss. Jesus is the Truth. He is the only truth that can make you free. Free from Sin and death and lead you into the everlasting life. Amen!

God Bless you all,

Aaron JP

    • Yes, it’s very important to know that their is no sin that God cannot forgive. The “unforgivable” sin is when you completely reject the Love of God with your human will. Remember after death, we go into our personal judgement. So in the end, we choose to accept God’s mercy or to reject it.
