A personal reflection on Psalm 23 Part 2

The Love of God Aaron Joseph Paul Hackett | Reflection Part 2 | 05/02/2024

“He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul”

The still water is the grace and mercy that flows from his heart! God is the very presence that brings peace and tranquility to all existence. Our Lord Jesus Christ established the Roman Catholic Church. Through his Chosen Apostle St. Peter, our first pope[1], and the seven sacraments[2], which the church utilizes, to bring the love of Christ to the earth.

A person’s soul is restored to harmony by the very gift of God’s mercy. The sacrament of confession, when truly repentant, brings freedom[3]. “A weight lifted” off the shoulders of the sinner. The devil rages because this soul, who once was lost, is now reunited with its Master and Creator, which is God himself.

The Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ in the simplest form of bread and wine, the Most Holy Eucharist[4], can heal all brokenness in our lives. We just need to pray for the graces to have that gift of faith.

God bless you all!

Aaron Joseph Paul Hackett
