A personal reflection on Psalm 23

We all need the love of God Aaron Joseph Paul Hackett | Reflection Part 1 | 02/14/2024

“The Lord is my Shepard; I shall not want; he make me lie down in green pastures”

God is my General. He is the guardian of my soul. He is the one to obey, love, and please. God is the center of all created life. God is the desire of the hearts of men.

There is nothing that the world, the flesh, and the devil can offer. God is the only thing I need! “Who is like God?”[1] Nothing in known human existence can take the place of God. “Our hearts are restless, until they rest in thee”[2]

God is offering me a safe, place in his arms. His very presence is enough to fill the deepest desire of the human heart. He is the source behind all known love, knowledge, and wisdom. Perfection in the very sense of the word.

My brothers and Sisters, I want to tell you that I’m very sorry that I have been away from this blogging site. I give 100% credit to God for helping me create it. I have been through my own trials and tribulations. Please, forgive me that I have not done my duties, in sharing my reflections about this beautiful faith of the Roman Catholic Church. Today is the beginning of Lent (40 days of fasting, praying, and almsgiving). I will pray for you all, please keep me in your prayers. For those who are not religious, please wish me well. God bless you, my brothers and sisters.

Warm Regards,

Aaron Joseph Paul Hackett
